They feel like they have a different vibe to me. I used to hate Alice, mostly because people would call me Alice instead of Elise and that would drive me mad. I've changed my tune and now I have a perception of an Alice to be intelligent, quick-witted, good sense of humor, sunny disposition, and someone who kind of just goes along to the beat of their own drum. This has no doubt been shaped a lot by the 4 Alices that I have known who range in age from 7 to 85ish.

I don't know what the vibe of Elise is. I can't objectively assess that. But it feels different to me.

I dislike Elisa. I pronounce it the way you prefer but I think the -a on the end seems unnecessary.
