Milena/Mila used to be my favorite name ever, but I kind of grew out of it once everyone started using it. My cousin named her baby Mila so I had to cross of off my list for future baby names :(

Milena was my most favourite Polish name about ten years ago. Now I'm not so crazy in love with it, but still like it a lot. It has really a lot of nickname options. I know a few Milenas, from my school, it never was a popular name here in POland, but somehow there was around 5 in my school, they're all in their early 20s now. Also I know a Milena who's 10 now and the names of her siblings are: Zuzanna, Natalia, Anna and Joanna. That Milena fits her name really well. I like the nickname Mila for it, Lena is nice too, but Lena is now so popular as a first name here that it's nothing impressive.

Oh, I love Milena. She used to be a top favorite of mine years ago. It isn't exactly my style now but I still really enjoy her. I think the meaning is lovely.

Ehm... It seems quite dated to my eyes.
I can figure it only on a woman is her 40s.

It reminds me of Mila Kunis. I prefer it to something like Milan. Mia would be a cute nickname, or Lia or Lena.
