hmm.. I didn't think of that. But isn't it pronounced just like it is spelled?*Jessica*

I'm not familiar with the name and am wondering if it is "jas" like the first syllable of Jasper or like the word jazz? And "wind" like to wind a clock? Or like blowing in the wind? I'm coming up with at least four ways to say it... help?

Ami says it almost like "jashwinda" but I'm positive it's just her accent. The correct pro., I have no idea. I say jas-winder myself and nobody in Ami's family has ever corrected me. ::shrugs::
edit: to clarify my pronunciation of Jaswinder - jahss-win-der vs. Ami saying jahsh-win-dah
(Ami and her family are from India, I don't know where 'bouts though)
