Elliot reminds me of the character from Scrubs and it makes me think of Elliott Bay in Seattle. It sometimes makes me think of the character from E.T.
I like Elliot enough to use for a son if it wasn't my sister's only favorite name for a daughter. With her mental issues that got especially bad the last two years I'm feeling uncertain whether she will ever have a child but unless she wanted me to use it for a son I am avoiding it. I go back and forth between which spelling I prefer - Elliott or Elliot - right now I prefer Elliott. The spelling Elliot seems slightly more feminine than Elliott.
