WDYTO this French name?

I love it!
It is short but with a strong meaning!
I adore Celtic names and Maël comes from Breton which derives from it.

I don't care it is so popular. It is beautiful anyway.

I like Maël too. I think it's a bit short on its own, but in daily use it works great! I like these combos:
Maël Aatos or Aatos Maël (I think I like the latter the best)
Éloi Maël
Étienne Maël
Lukas Maël
Maël Nikias

I think the feminine version Maëlle is adorable as well.
