What do you think of the name Simeon? Does it bother you that it sounds identical to the word "simian"?

The simian connection does bother me and would lead to teasing. Simon would be so much better, in my opinion.

I wish I didn't immediately think Simian because it's a nice name, but I do.

I love the name. I think Simeon is lovely sounding and unusual. The word simian does not bother me; the vowels are different enough and I don't think monkeys are such a negative thing, anyway.
I also think of the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia, whose name means "northern mountains" in Amharic.

It doesn't bother me. I just don't like the name.
