It's really nice. The story surrounding the mythical Niobe is tragic of course, but that makes the name more interesting to me. I would love to meet someone named Niobe. I'd assume her parents were somewhat geeky and/or had Greek heritage. Apparently there's a Niobe in the matrix trilogy, so I'd think a younger Niobe might have been named for that.

It does remind me of Naomi, but I really like Naomi, so it's a good thing, although I feel a real woman named Niobe might end up correcting people a lot.
