Sasha, Masha or Natasha? (more)

None of them would I use alone. All of them are pet forms so I would ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO use the full forms.
However, I prefer Natasha / Natalia the most. It's absolutely gorgeous.
I like Sasha the second most, but tbh, I prefer it on a male as a nn for Alexander.
Masha is cute, but it's always been one of those names I'd prefer someone else to use kind of things.

Sasha: this seems relatively fashionable, and easy for people to say where I live. And I like it. I do not like it much for guys unless they are Russian, but I think it makes a good name for a woman or girl who isn't Russian.
Masha: I don't think this works well for English speakers. Too much of the word mash or mush in it. I like Maria.
Natasha: this seems dated to me and liable to lead to the nickname Tasha, which I don't really like. Natasha is alright though. I like it more than Natalia, barely.
I'd use Alexandra with Sasha as a nickname, but I think Sasha can stand on its own as a full name, about as well as something like Sandra can.

Out of those: Natasha. It's an decent enough name in my opinion even though I once knew one who wasn't very pleasant. The name is infinity better than the other two. Sasha I can't take seriously. It just come across as some obvious stage name. Masha isn't any better.
Natalia is BEAUTIFUL! Out of all of the names, I would pick that one with no hesitance.

I definitely would not use Masha. Moshing and mash are not good associations, and if you're not Russian-speaking, Maria is too beautiful a name to cut down to Masha.
I'd use Natasha. On its own; since I am not Russian in any way, it would be pretentious to use Natalia and call her Natasha, and not even nicknamey.
I like Sasha too, (again, as the full name; I don't like Alexandra that much anyway) but I think of it as mainly a cat's name. We had a cat called Sasha once, who was mean as a snake.

Hi Perrine !!!
Natasha vs Natalia - Natalia wins.
Natalia is 9/10 while Natasha 5/10.
Natalia (or Natalya) is elegant, mature and ancient. It reminds me the Russian nobilty and Christmas of course.
Aleksandra vs Sasha. Aleksandra wins.
I quite dislike Aleksandra but it is better than Sasha which seems tacky to me. At the opposite Sacha (boy) the French variant is lovely, charming and refined.
Mariya vs Masha. Masha wins.
Maria is SO common and overused that I prefer particular forms and diminutives to it (like Manon, Marion, Marieke, Marujita, Marilyn...). Masha has 8/10.

I like Sasha for a boy, but I don't like any of them for a girl.
