Re: Unusual or rare names given to Swedish children
I like / love these:
Enya Juno Aurora (I love all three names, although together they're tad bit much)
Leia
Nova Tingeling (Tingeling is awful & hilarious in Dutch, but I love Nova)
Luna Valentina
Metallica (well, I love Metallica, just not as a name ;P)
Nimrod
Novah Lotus (I don't like the -h in Novah, but I love Lotus)
Odette and Daphne are nice to see together
Odin (recently saw it used around here as well, I thought it was refreshing to see)
Tristan and Medea
Tycho (if I'd had a son about 10 years ago, he'd have been Tycho)
Valkyria
Vendel
Meya
I'm undecided on Belladora, but it stands out positively in this list.
Is Marlon male or female? It's listed as only male, but in Dutch it's a strictly female name.

I would guess that Marlon is a boy.
