Re: Welsh names in top 100
in reply to a message by Mireio
Carys is a favorite of mine. I worked with a Carys who was originally from Wales. It's my niece's middle name, and my sister now wishes she had made it her first name instead, but my sister had decided to bow to her husband's wishes when it came to the first name.
I also love Bronwen. My daughter attended school with a Bronwen when we lived in Australia, so when I met the girl, I took the opportunity to tell her how much I love her name.
I can't say that I feel drawn to any of the others on your list, so evidently Carys and Bronwen are the exceptions, and I don't feel an affinity with Welsh names in general.
