Re: Athena
There were two Athena's in my high school. There were also at least two Gaia's. I much prefer Athena to Athina.I have no idea how Athena is perceived in Greece or in the US. I have no idea why it has become more popular in the US in the last fews years.I know we had so many Athena's at my high school because my school had a lot of kids whose parents were hippies. We also had a lot of Hazel's. I feel like my school was ahead of the trends although Hazel has been more poplar in WA state than in most other states for a long while now.Athena is #142 in the US but it is #99 right now in WA state.I always think of Athena as a strong feminine name. I mean Athena always was one of the cooler goddesses.
