"KAM-oh-mile".
Sorry but this seems silly to me. A bit medicinal.

Eh. Usable. A nice flower.
But the association I have is a tranquilizing effect. Like, for neurotic nervousness.

CAM-o-meel
I was thinking of this as a name a few days ago, actually...it's not one of my personal favs, but I think it's a nice enough botanical name...unexpected but not too out there since it sounds like Camille and could shorten to Cam or Milly (I usually pronounce it cam-o-mill but sometimes I say cam-o-meal).
I do kind of dislike it as a name if pronounced as cam-o-mile, though.

I always said "cam-o-meal", but I think it sound stay a guilty pleasure.
It sounds like the name of a hippie's child in something intended to poke fun at hippies. Or it sounds like a rabbit.
I'd say cam-o-meel, which admittedly is a very name-y collection of syllables (Camilla, Amelia).

we all need names that sound like rabbit names though, tbh.
Dumb idea for a name, and nobody can agree on how to say it. I say cam-o-mile. Some say cam-o-mill, and some say cam-o-meel.
And the tea tastes awful.

my kid chamomile will fight u in 20 years. lol jk.
Cam-o-meal. I like it!
Is this like the tea? I say CAM-o-meel. That would make an adorable middle name, actually. Or a fantastic name for a pet.
Hi Foxglove !!!
It is lovely!
I love floreal names and I don't know why this flower is not as classic/evergreen as Daisy, Violet or Dahlia.
Everyone theorically drinks it so in my mind it is very familiar and brings me bright feelings like elegance, delicacy, carefreeness.
I would pronounce it ca-mo-MEEL.
I also like the Italian Camomilla far better than the similar Camilla.

ikr!!
and to me personally it makes me think of calming and healing, since the tea has so many health benefits, including being known to help you sleep. it also has a very light flavor.
and Camomilla is rly good!! easier to agree on a pronunciation for that.

Eh...all I can think of is tea. Not a fan.
Sounds enough like Camille to be used safely, Cammy is also a cute nick name. It reminds me of the tea.
I like it. It would be good with Cam as a nn. (I say CAM-o-meel)
