I've never understood the appeal of it. First of all, it's a brand of sanitary product and I believe it was what I was using when I first started hearing of it as a name. So to me it was as bad as naming somebody Tampax or Stay-Free.Second of all, it just sounds gross, like a nursing home or a funeral parlor. Locally there used to be a day spa called Serenity, and a chocolate shop called Sweet Serenity, so it also sounded like a place to go to get a facial or to binge on candy.You're entitled to your own opinions.
