Re: Maxine, Judie and Therese
I love Maxine, I like all the pronunciations of Therese, and I'm not fond of the spelling Judie but Judy is okay and kind of a cute librarian sort of name.Maxine is both cool and vintage like a punk girl who shops at consignment shops.Therese is very Catholic, one of the most Catholic names other than Mary and Maria. I've known many Therese's and they have all been Catholic expect possibly the Swiss ex-pat I know. For some reason when I first saw Judie it instantly made me think of nudie. I've never seen the spelling Judie before. Seeing it I would feel pretty certain it was a nn for Judith, while the spelling Judy feels like a fn or a nn - truthfully I usually assume fn before nn when I see Judy.
