Why not?

I'm much rather see a girl named Wolfgang than a girl named Riley, Carson, Emerson, or Parker.

agreedi don't think it should be judged worse than Wolfgang on a boy, or other uncommon boy's names on girls. i get the point of wanting to tell one's gender, but i feel like most people have such a problem because Wolfgang sounds too rough for a girl- and why does that matter, why do girls names have to be pretty while boys names can be rough. on its own- boy or girl- it's pretentious and ugly, but also could be fun for the kid like...no one will forget you. you could build a cool kid vibe out of it.

I honestly think it's even worse since 'Wolfgang' comes across as very pretenious and unusable. Not nearly as usable as the other names mentioned by wordsmith. Wolf gang. Like a gang of wolves?

Or "wolf path," which, you know, is what it actually means...

*sighs heavily* still a very pretenious name. The meaning of the name doesn't matter a lick to me, sorry. (:I just mentioned gang of wolves thing because of how the name looks if you simply break it in half. Wolf. Gang
