Mark makes me think of the chazillion guys near my age who I've met who are named Mark. It seems dadnamey and kind of blah. However if you spell it Marc (like short for Marcus), suddenly it's sharper. I'd be willing to name a son Marcus "Marc" if I couldn't use any other favorites.- mirfak
