Nickname for Alexa Verity
Replies
Lex and Lexa are pretty similar, I don't think I like one more than the other. Both are better than Lexi.
I don't really like Alexa, it's too popular IMO, but Verity is cool. If you wanted a nickname for the full combo you could go with something like Avi, Avie, Avy, A.V., etc. Even Avery isn't a stretch at all, it's just a contraction of the whole combo.
(There's also Aly, Alex, Al, etc but I assume you've already considered those and prefer Lex/Lexa).

Alexa Verity is alright.
Alexa is pretty. Though not as nice as Alexandra. I like it pretty well anyway.
I don't love the name Verity, but it makes a cute middle name.
The problem with Alexa Verity that I see, which completely destroys it for me despite thinking the names separately are nice, is that it contains the word "severity" when I say it out loud. Alec Severity.
I'd like Alexandra Verity nn Alex.
Or you could throw in an extra middle name to get rid of "severity." Alexa Lia Verity or something.
Lex sounds self-consciously slick. In my imagination it's a guy, and he says: "Hey babe. I'm Lex" and flashes his eyebrows twice.
Lexa just seems a little too cute to be natural, hard to picture it being used by a grownup woman. Lexa for a small child Alexa isn't too bad. Seems like something a toddler Alexa might call herself because she can't enunciate Alexa. Or, Lexa is the type of nickname only family and best friends call Alexa. Anyway it's miles better than Lex.
