WDYT of the name Lisa? Do you think it's nice or is it too dated?
What middle name would you pair with it?

It's definitely dated, and was massively popular at the time I was born, which means I knew a lot of girls named Lisa when I was growing up, resulting in it being Bore City for me. But when I can shake that off, I see it sounds pretty nice. Cool and sleek.
A little boy in my son's class has a sister named Lisa. To be honest, I find it super awkward on a little girl. It is very dated and very Simpson-y to my ears.
Extremely dated, thank goodness; I didn't like it when it was new!
It's just the ultimate in wannabe-cute, but can't carry it off.

Sorry but yeah, I think it's dated.
It started out as a nn for Elisabeth though, and I don't mind it that way. Then Elisabeth is a really versatile name to draw nns from if the kid doesn't like Lisa.

I want to like it, but I know a couple of not-very-nice Lisas and that puts me off a bit.

It's one of the few dated names I like. I think it has a nice sound, short and sweet, and I'll admit I like it slightly more because of the Simpsons haha. I've had Lisa Henrietta Xanthe for a while and never felt inclined to change it.
I think Lisa is very pretty. It's dated because it hasn't been popular for twenty years or more, but it has a youthful sound.
A couple years ago I heard a mother saying in a store "Lisa Maria, will you calm down?!" Her daughter was maybe three at the most.
So Lisa Maria is a very pretty combo, and a nice twist on the admittedly very tired Lisa Marie.

I want to like Lisa as it is my mom's name, but I do find it horribly dated It throws me when I meet one less than 40 years old and I don't really like any -isa names. It isn't terrible though, I hardly think it qould be a burdensome name to carry and it isnt ugly.

I have negative associations with Lisa. It was the name of many of my peers growing up, and I never liked any Lisas. So I don't like the name. I think it sounds a little weak, nicknamey like Tina. It seemed trendy to me back then, and I do think it's dated.
Lisa Marie! j/k
I'll give it a heavy, serious middle name to compensate ...
I like some alliteration because the name is short ...
Lisa Lenora
Lisa Marcella
Lisa Ruth
Prettier:
Lisa Violet
Lisa Carmina
