Re: Jorja
I personally prefer Georgia by a mile but I don't mind Jorja. I think the "J" spelling feels more modern and plays up the youthful and spunky vibes, though I admit wondering, briefly, if it was meant to be pronounced with an "h" sound.Forgot to comment on "JJ". I like the spunkiness and I think it works fine as a feminine nickname but, I would prefer Georgia with "GG" or "Gigi", if a nickname was wanted.

Love Georgia. It's classic and elegant. It sounds like it would belong to somebody strong-willed, creative and kind. It would be good for a girl or woman of any age and any profession.Hate "Jorja". It's trying too hard to be different and trendy, and will lead to a lifetime of her having to explain the spelling to everybody she meets.
