One of few "surnames as first names" that I like (along with Beckett, Bennett, and Donovan). It's masculine without being "macho," and fits in with modern male names without being too trendy. And, of course, there's Harrison Ford. :-)Normally I would prefer Harris, but unfortunately I have a quite bad association with that name, so... Harrison it is!

It's such a surname to me, and not even an attractive one. I don't see why people use it.

Ford. Sounds like a car, or a visiting alien who didn't want to duplicate the name of Ford Prefect.Seriously, it's fine if it's a family ln. If, as I suspect, it isn't, then why overelaborate? Just go for Henry, Harold or good old Harry and make life simple.Or even Harris.

I like Harry as a nickname, and prefer Harrison to just using Harry as the legal name, but I like Harold better. I love Henry, but prefer that name on its own, as I like it more than Harry. I guess the answer is that I do like Harrison, but it's not a favourite of mine. There's nothing I dislike about it, though.

I love it, but I feel like it's quickly rising in popularity along with the other -son names. Harris is nice, too.
