Caroline
Hello there (: What do you think about the name, Caroline? (Said the Care-o-line way) Any middle name suggestions? So far I have:Caroline Sarah (common & perhaps "plain" to some but popularity doesn't bother me. I find Sarah to be a very practical and gorgeous name. It isn't plain to me)
Caroline Paige
Caroline FayeWhat would you suggest? Thanks in advance

I feel like I'm supposed to like Caroline, given my taste in feminine names: elegant, sophisticated... often British. But to me, Caroline is one of the snobbiest names in Anglophone culture - even if the bearer is the most down-to-earth person! It's just... the *sound*. And the look. I'd seriously expect a Caroline to have her nose up farther than a Seraphina, no lie. I much prefer Carol (and Carla). As for the combos you posted, I actually do think Caroline Sarah is nice - Sarah helps ground Caroline a bit.

Caroline is my mother's name and I love it - truly elegant and feminine without any frillinessI've never heard it pronounced the way you say - only ever with a short 'a' as in cat.I don't care for Paige or Faye and have a vehement dislike for Sarah but I do likeCaroline Rose
Caroline Mary
Caroline Eliza
Caroline Louise

Care-o-line doesn't happen where I live. It's always Ca-ro-line with a short a, and I used it for my daughter. Her mns were family names: Caroline Beatrice Mary.Of your suggestions, I prefer Caroline Sarah.

I love Caroline. All of your middle name choices work for me. I also love Caroline Lucy, Caroline Lucinda and Caroline Elizabeth. I think Sarah is beautiful too, and the name's popularity doesn't take away from it, for me. Like Caroline, Sarah is classic and beautiful.

I think it's okay. I MUCH prefer this pronunciation to Car-uh-line. Honestly, if not for the nicknames Cara and Carrie I probably wouldn't like it all that much.I love Sarah too!

I only like Caroline paired with other extremely traditional names. Caroline Sarah is OK, but I'm not wild about Sarah and find the combo a bit boring tbh. Caroline Jane
Caroline Eleanor
Caroline Eloise
Caroline Frances
Caroline Helen
Caroline Margaret
Caroline Rebecca (love this)
Caroline Susannah
Caroline Virginia
Caroline Amelia / Caroline Emma / Caroline EmilyMy name is Caroline and I had a list made for when I turned 18 and could change my name (which is technically Esther Caroline but I've always gone by Caroline.) I wanted Caroline to be my real, official first name. I was all about Caroline Isabelle in those days. But I'm 32 now and still Esther Caroline :)

I quite enjoy Caroline. Sarah is not the least bit gorgeous to me, so Caroline Sarah is pretty blah.
Caroline Paige is nice and sweet. Too sweet for me, but it's okay.
Caroline Faye is a bit more interesting. I would opt for Caroline Mae or Caroline Rae, personally, but Faye is alright too.My suggestions are not along your lines at all, so you probably won't like 'em. :)
