Re: Celeste

I'm neutral. I don't think it's too frilly or silly... I think the Italian pronunciation is very pretty. But Celeste in English has a few word-associations that aren't great - not just molest, but lest and less, and there are a lot of words that end with est and essed.
And also it reminds me (because it was the first time I saw the name) of an old brand of frozen pizza, with an ad campaign featuring a gray-haired Italian grandmother called "Mama Celeste" making homemade pizza (pronounced the English way despite her Italian accent). So, a very Italian stereotype, which isn't negative, but it's very stereotypical.
Someone I used to be friends with named a daughter Celeste ... about 12 years ago.
I think Celestine or Celestina is nicer, but also not great.
