I know several people named Princess, but that is because names like that (Prince, Queen, Duchess, etc) are popular in the Philippines.
I imagine it is because there is a slight feel of a foreign word, yet the meaning of someone important.
I have never been fond of Princess, but I will say that Duchess kind of grew on me. I would never use it myself... but eh, I can see why someone else might like it.
I would rather a flower or nature name than a straight-up title name.
