I think it's a very classic and pretty name but a very overused middle name.

Overused but very decent and practical. I'm neutral towards this name

Maria is very pretty although it doesn't exactly wow me. Still, I could work with it. Despite its popularity, I've only known one.

Maria is lovely. I slightly prefer Marie, but both are great. They are also both overused as middle names, so it's nicer to see them as firsts.

It's Sweden's most common female name, together with Anna. I find it extremely boring. I've known HEAPS of Marias.

I love it. It's, I think, the perfect definition of a classic name, as it has been well-used for centuries, and is popular, unchanged, across many ethnicities and cultures. I would have liked to use it but my husband doesn't like it.

I love it, but it's way too common where I live.

Too unEnglish for me to use, and too popular among Afrikaans-speaking South Africans to be anything but boring. When we needed a name to honour my late MIL, we tweaked Maria to Mary.

A pretty name, I think. I might use it. I like it more then Marie.

I've never cared for it. It sounds heavy to me. I like Marie more, but not much more.
