And old friend from highschool just had her second child, a boy, named: Nolan, making the family:

Lindy - daughter
Nolan - son.
I was surprised, as Lindy is a very on-trend Dutch name (cutesy, diminutive) and Nolan is very English and not very on-trend at all.

I think Nolan is a very handsome Irish name. I'm not sure I'd ever use it, however I don't mind it at all. Don't care for the rest of the family names, however.
I like both names, and I don't think they clash, but I'm an American.
Interesting that you think of Nolan as English - I think of it as French! Or an Irish surname.
