Chili
I know a little boy named Chili. His dad is Mexican, mum is English. What do you think of this very unusual name?Done a little bit of research, Australian celebrity chef Peter Evans, has a daughter named Chili, and it is also the name of John Travolta's character (Chili Palmer) in Get Shorty (1995).

Makes me think of the food. Really unattractive name.

Didn't somebody on this site have a friend/coworker/neighbor/whatever have a daughter named Chili? In any case I hate it.

The only other time I've heard of Chili was through the R&B group TLC; they have a group member with the stage name Chilli. I admit it's kinda cute but random - and all I think of is warm bowls of chili. And also I grew up near a town called Chili but pronounced chy-lye, so there's that.

It's a really fun nickname, but pretty silly as a given name

I'm surprised a Mexican person would name their kid Chili, unless it's a nn for something else, the way Chela is a nn for Isabel.
It's pretty dumb if it's the actual name. Fine for a pet, but a person? Like naming them Spaghetti or Pudding.

Hi !!!I dislike it as given name.
It could be a fine NN but not a full one.It is better on animals.
