I can't see the point, really. Elspeth is about the same length as Lisette - I can see that Lisette would be more convenient than Elizabeth at half the length, but what would you gain by using one 2-syllable name as a nn for another? Anyway, Elizabeth has the Lis- element ready and waiting, but Elspeth doesn't.

The only Lisette I know is Dutch and it's her full name. I like it like that.
