Enid is really cute. It's kind of a "nerd" name for me. Reminds me of an entomologist, for some reason. I keep imagining a young, slender woman with big-frame glasses studying a beetle under a microscope.Don't like Edith at all, though. Never have, don't think I ever will. Not even a huge fan of Edie, to be honest. Sorry.

I lie Enid more. The only name ending in -th that I like (and I like it enough to use, given enough kids) is Gareth. All the rest sound like someone with badly fitting dentures trying to say 's'.The fact that my late MIL was Edith (though she never used it) and my friend's nice wife is Enid has nothing to do with it. Honest!

I love Edith. I also like Eden.

I love both. I think I prefer Enid at the moment because it's less appreciated than Edith.

Edith. It's a pretty common name here among elder women and also young children. I have a co-worker with two daughters named Edith and Elise.

I like them pretty equally. Both were suggested to my husband and then mixed. He said Enid sounded like a kind of insect. I like that they both have a bit of an antique quality to them. I would be more disposed to use Enid today.

Edith. I prefer the sound, softer but with substance. I used to have both on my list, but Enid was much lower, and I removed it, since I just wasn't loving it all that much anymore. I still like it though.

I like Enid more. The meaning is great & I enjoyed hearing it on The Walking Dead. Edith is ok. Don't love it or hate it.

Edith, although I like the meaning of Enid more, Edith looks and sounds better

I like Edith more; the old-lady vintage is offset by the cute nickname potential of Edie.

I prefer Enid, as Edith / Edie is getting trendy here and will probably be top 100 soon.

Edith is pretty to me because of the -ith part; -nid is not attractive.
