Mio and Zinnia
I've seen Mio mentioned a few times on this board in the past few weeks, once on a boy (Swedish) and once on a girl (Japanese). What do you think of it? Which gender did you assume it was when you first saw it? I think it's really pretty on a girl, but I'm not sure if a non-Japanese girl could pull it off.
Also, Zinnia is a name that's on my PNL but that I haven't paid much attention to. What are your thoughts on it?
Ambrose, Alfred, Dexter, Dorian, Elias, Felix, Florian, Isaac, Lewis, Maximilian, Niall, Oscar, Rocco, Roman, Sylvain
Alice, Athena, Beatrix, Clementine, Daphne, Eliza, Francine, Iris, January, Margaux, Norma, Octavia, Susanna, Sylvia, Viola

I like Mio a lot. It used to be in one of my combos (I can't remember which, it was Ada something-long Mio). I think it disappeared off my list but I have to re-add it. For a girl (hopefully obvious for being in a combo with Ada, which I don't care for anymore, not since hearing my mother in law say it out loud).
Zinnia's all right, I think I'd be really excited to see it used but something about it doesn't appeal to me personally and keeps it off my list.

I would assume Mio was a girl only because I once read something where a Japanese woman was identified as being named Mio. A non-Japanese probably couldn't pull it off, because it would be sure to be mistaken for Mia, and Mio also sounds like a cat meowing. Mia does too, but everybody knows Mia's a name.
Zinnia is a pretty flower but as a name it's hard to picture it on a real person. It's a bit cartoon-animal-ish, like a lovable pink pig or something.
