Re: Wanda, Tammy, and Crystal
I wouldn't be all that surprised to see a young Crystal. Here in Delaware, Crystal stayed popular (in the top 100) till just a few years ago, especially among Hispanics. Besides, I really like the name; it sounds like what it is: bright, sparkly and clear. One of my favorite cousins is named Crystal Gail, after the singer.Wanda is one of those names that to me is fun to say and kind of comical in general, but I wouldn't like it for myself or to give to anybody else. I have an aunt named Wanda, who is very cool, but that doesn't mean I like the name.Tammy is whiny and annoying and even though it's very dated it sounds babyish, like some pudgy-faced little kid sucking on her pigtails and mud all over her knees from playing in the ditch or something. Tamara is nice, but not Tammy. So I'd think that Crystal was the lucky sister. You're entitled to your own opinions. You're not entitled to your own facts. -- Daniel Patrick Moynihan
