Raven
I just remembered that this was my favorite name of all times as a teenager :P I wanted twin girls named Robin and Raven.
What do you think of Raven? Did you like it as a teen? I think this might be one of those names that really appeal to teenagers. What image do you get from it? I imagine a girl with long black hair who is into witchcraft and all that stuff (but in a nice, friendly way).
Opinions on Raven?

I've started to like Raven more and more recently. I really like the sound and imagery, so she's popping up in a few places as a middle. I agree with the long black hair, magic feel, I like it!
I like Raven - but not in a pseudo-goth, trying-to-be-uncool kind of way.
I like it through a character on the TV show The 100 where it belongs to a girl who's loyal and smart and resilient.
It recently made my long list but after repeating it aloud I realised how much I enjoy the sound and it's now into my Top Ten.

I think it's very much a "emo teen in the 1990's" kind of name. Very dated now, and also very much a screen handle type name too.
I must be the odd one out here because I don't care for it. I don't detest it nearly as much as Haven but still. Raven to me sounds more like a character or stage name. It's a name I would never be able to take much serious. I can easily envision the name belonging to a girl with black hair and into witchcraft as well.
I know my cousin Andrea loves it and if she would of had a girl instead of a boy, she said she would of named her "Zuri Raven" (personally not a fan of either of those names)
I like Robin but love to see it on males more.

It's a guilty pleasure to me. I think it sounds pretty but also goth and creepy.
