It's dated, but also not really dated. Not like Barbara or Debbie, for instance, but not as still-popular like Sarah or Kimberly. There was an Amy in my 11-year-old daughter's class a couple years ago.
I don't really like it. It's very bland and blah. I picture a mousy girl with generic glasses and limp hair.
