I like it, and I don't think of the infection at all. Just of ancient Romans wearing whiter-than-white togas when they ran for office so that the public would get an impression of cleanliness and purity!
What puts me off is what also puts me off Candace. Candy is the obvious and probably the only nn available and it would be pretty well inevitable. (Though I was at school with a Candy whose full name it was, and at the start of each school year she'd be interrogated by incredulous teachers demanding proof. Her full names were Candy Mercia Anne, which is memorable.)
I'd be happy to consider either one as a mn. I've never seen or heard of Candita, though - where did you find it?
