Helen
I am starting to like Helen. I've met a few wonderful Helens in the last couple of months. What do you think of Helen? Do you prefer Helena? I kind of like the simplicity of Helen whereas Helena seems kind of stuck up and mean to me, but I am interested to hear what you think of these two names :)

Helen is nice and very classical. It makes me think of Helen of Troy, so it also has a mythological glamour. Because the Helen of Troy association is so strong, I actually prefer Helena a shade more because it has so many namesakes to choose from. Helena sounds very elegant, and I like the sound of it when I say it aloud.

I prefer Helena, the "hel" part isn't as prominent. Eleni is beautiful too. I find "el" more elegant and feminine than "hel".

I love Helen and prefer it to Helena, which I also love.

I love Helen and would gladly use it IRL.Helena has pronunciation issues (HELina, heLEEna) and Helen doesn't need an -a to be recognisably feminine - not with Helen of Troy in the background.
