I love Shoshana. I like both spellings but I guess the simplicity of Shoshana appeals to me a little bit more.
My impression is of a young Jewish girl who lives in New York City (I guess my impression is based on the show Girls which I've never even really watched?).
I'd be hesitant to use Shoshana because I'm not Jewish, but I really like the name.
