It sounds/looks like: Theodore (#99), Salvador (#630), Isaiah (#49), Isaac (#31) Isabelle (#94), Isabella (#5). So, I don't think it's too odd-sounding. It is old-fashioned/uncommon, which makes it nerdy: maybe about at the level of Ambrose or Ira? Whether that's *too* nerdy is up to the person using it.I would consider using it, and I'm American...the vibe I get from it is kind of similar to Ezra, but less trendy.
