Crimson
Do you think Crimson works as a name? Do you like it? Scarlett and Crimson as a sibset, WDYT? (Just kidding about that last.)

I think of King Crimson (not that that's bad per se). Crimson is a beautiful colour, but it doesn't sound like a name. Sounds a bit like "crime son".

Good Lord no! FWIW I think Scarlett is a pretty stupid name.

Crimson was the name I used to want to use for a main character if I ever wrote a book. Coincidentally fictional, daydream me is called Scarlet, and there isn't a connection, so maybe subconsciously I have a thing for red haha. I'm not sure about it on a real person, but maybe it could work as a middle.

No, I don't think it sounds nice, and it makes me think of someone blushing crimson (Scarlett doesn't have the same vibe, don't ask why). But I see people latching on Crimson as part of the -son/on fad.

I don't think it really works. For some reason it just sounds evil to me.

It tends to remind me of sports (and algae) more than the color because of teams like Alabama Crimson Tide and Harvard Crimson.I guess it could work, considering names like Hudson and Scarlet work, but imo, it seems flat or exaggeratedly stylized, like a caricature (or mascot).

What about Crimson and Clover for a sibset?I think Crimson is ok as a middle tbh, but I think most anything is ok for a middle.

Growing up watching The Fairly OddParents, the only thing that comes to mind when hearing "Crimson" is the Crimson Chin character from the show, see https://i.ytimg.com/vi/iRIWX3Q_724/maxresdefault.jpglol!
