Michaela
This name's really been growing on me lately. It's so warm and friendly seeming to me. I like Mikaela as well, but hate most of the modern varients like McKayla and Makayla, ugh. Anyway, what do you think?

I really dislike the sound and I find it physically ugly. But, I agree that it is friendly.
Honestly, I hate every spelling of this name. Michaela is just the most tolerable.
If I ever had a daughter, this would have been a serious contender.
The reason being that it's a feminine form of a name that would have honored both her grandfathers, Michael and Michael. Plus, I really liked it. Trendy sound, but it has *some* history, and I agree that the sound/vibe is friendly.
I would have used Michaela, nothing weird.

True, but I wouldn't have cared what people thought. Michaela just looks nicer than the alternate spellings.
I'm pretty meh about it, don't love it and don't hate it. But I strongly agree with you that the Michaela spelling is best. The rest are bastardizations.
I think Michaela is really pretty. It's artsy and friendly, and it's dark with a streak of yellow in it which is unique to me and I like a lot.
But I really dislike Mikayla et al. They're not attractive at all to look at.

Makayla is my daughter's middle name. I really don't like the spelling Michaela, even though I know it's the original, real-McCoy spelling. It just looks unattractive to me, and too obviously "We wanted to name after Uncle Michael but Michelle is out so ..."
Much prefer Makayla or Mikayla.

I love it, and I also like it spelled Mikaela.
I really like Michaela too. I only like this spelling.
Michaela and Mikaela are okay. The sound is kind of nice. But all the horrible misspellings have destroyed the name for me. Makayla and Mikayla are horrible! It is also really 90s dated.
The modern misspellings are horrible. It also has a bit of a 90s vibe to me. I don't like it enough to use myself, but it's a nice name, and like you said, "friendly".
