Clotilda
When I was looking at the Chloe post i thought that this would make a gorgeous alternative. What do you think?

I really like Clothilde or Klothilde.
I like this, as others have posted, due to the ornate attributes. I love Clothilde (Chlothilde / Chloe), Brunhilde (Brunna), and Mathilde (Mattie) even more. For the better part of nearly nine hundred years the final "e" in English would sometimes be pronounced or sometimes "remain unspoken" - and I think his variable adds magic!

I think its absolutely stunning, but I think a lot of people would latch onto the "clot" beginning (even though it's not pronounced that way).
I don't really care for it, but that's just my personal taste. All I can think of when I see it are blood clots and hefty German women.

I adore Clotilda! It's so ornate.
It almost works, but the word "clot" renders it a bit icky.
I much prefer Clotilde
