I like Birdie as a nn because of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie".
Bridie if it pronounced similar to Bridget is a fairly okay nn. Bridie pronounced similar to the word "bride" I super dislike unless it is a nn for your future bride, then it is okay but still not great.
So conclusion is I prefer Birdie as a nn for someone.
