I don't care for either of those names at all. I don't much like any female name beginning with El, especially when shortened to Ellie. Only exception is Eliza
Elisa I find very bland, the Claire or Sarah of the day. It doesn't stand out at all
Eliana (in my mind) is the kind of name given by parents who think of their daughter as their 'princess'. The ones who make sure their toddler is dressed in pink, in case anyone takes her for a boy. Or glues a bow to her bald baby head for the same reason. Dad will start posting lists of rules for dating his daughter on facebook once she turns three, with prominent references to his shotgun...
