I really don't enjoy Eliana at all. I've never seen or heard it used where I live, so perhaps that's why it seems strange, clumsy and over-ornate, or else like Elaine with typos. I love Eleanor, Elinor and Eloise, but they are as close to Eliana as I want to get.
Elisa? Not sure how you'd pronounce it. I'm quite happy with Elise, pronounced either eLEEza or eLEES, but I don't much like Eliza in spite of Ms Doolittle. And I wouldn't actually use any of them. I used Elizabeth as my daughter's mn, and if it had been her fn I suppose she'd have had a nn, but I don't think it would have been any of these.
I've got no associations with Eliana. Probably Mediterranean, therefore dark hair and eyes, probably Catholic so mn could well be Maria or a Mary name. And I've got no associations with Elisa either. She'd presumably not have English-speaking parents, but that's the best I can do.
