Elisa feels too much like Lisa with an E tacked on the front but I prefer Elisa to Lisa. I only slightly prefer Eliana so much so that it took me a while to decide.
I get a fairly similar vibe from both names. Both Eliana and Elisa are names of girl's with blue eyes and dark hair. Although I can see an Elisa having blonde hair or an Eliana having brown or hazel eyes.
The only Elisa I've ever known was very shy except for her few friends. She had blue eyes, very fair freckled skin, and brunette hair. She seemed nice although one of her good friends that I ended up living with for most of a year during college named Jamie told me that Elisa had apparently hated me in high school. I have no idea why! We were always nice to each other and we hardly interacted since she was a year older than me and we never had any classes together. So odd.
I have never met an Eliana except possibly in passing. I feel that it is a very pretty name. It reminds me of the name Ariana which I love but wish it wasn't so popular. Eliana I like a little less than Ariana but I like that it is less popular.
Truthfully I don't picture anything in particular when I consider their personality except I picture them both being at least slightly shy.
