Aviva
A favorite from a while ago. What do you think of Aviva?

Sounds like a brand name to me
I love Aviva! It has such a lively sound to it and I love that Avi can be a nn for it. It reminds me of the Spanish word for "live" which is "viva". As well it reminds me quite a bit of the name Evita. The first time I heard the name Aviva I thought that she said Evita. It actually took me a little while to realize my mistake. I prefer the name Aviva to Evita.
The only Aviva I know is a friend of someone who I view as being like my cousin. I am not as close to Aviva as my cousin but Aviva's brother went to college with me and he dated an old friend of mine when we were in college together.
I talk to Aviva sometimes when I am on FB. She thought that my mother, sister, and I were Jewish but we aren't. A lot of people assume that we are Jewish or Greek including Jewish or Greek people. People rarely guess that we are actually part Latina. If I ever named a daughter Aviva and she took after me in looks people would definitely assume that she was Jewish. That is perfectly fine, but I do wonder if it would offend any Jewish people if we used the name since we are not Jewish or if it would be thought that we were pretending to be Jewish if we used it. Maybe that is a weird thing to worry about.
Sorry I got a bit off track there.

Aviva is really pretty, I've liked it for a while myself.
It's a car insurer in England so I just play the advert in my head whenever I see/hear the name.
Plus Viva is a music channel here. So too many associations.

Hi !!!
It is pretty!
I like its meaning of spring.
It it also similar to the Italian adjective 'vivace' that means 'lively'.

I think it's lovely.
Reminds me of 'eviva' which means 'cheers' in my country :/ so not very charming for me.
It's off topic but I love your profile photo.

Where I live Aviva is a big insurance company who advertise constantly on the telly. I think it's unusable here for that reason
I love it at a distance; knew a lovely Aviva at uni who became an opera singer. Wouldn't use it, though; too out there.
