Albert
What are your feelings toward Albert? I think Albert is creeping into my name cache. Like Giles, Victor, Claude, and Gustav, it's giving me a nineteenth-century vibe that I like at present. Albert is my great-grandfather's, grandfather's, and uncle's middle names.

I really like Albert! It's handsome and underused.
Albert is increasing in popularity in England. The accessibility of the nickname Alby is making it a viable choice for upper-middle class parents.
I used to really like it. And I still have a soft spot for it but I don't feel it any more like I used to - maybe because of the above observation.
I don't put it in the same bracket of Giles, Victor, Claude and Gustav.
Brothers for Albert in my mind would be Archibald, Charles, Arthur, Benedict.

I like Albert, although my interest in it does tend to peak if/when I watch something (good) about Victoria and Albert. I have it on my list, but it's not very high up, I like the history behind it, and if nns come into it Albie is adorable (actually slightly prefer it). I would like to use it as a middle, as it's kind of a mix of my grandads' names, so could work to honour both of them.
I love it! It's dashing but intellectual.
I LOVE Albert, the name. It sounds very elegant, something about it appeals to me. What I do like more than Albert is Adalbert. I love both of those names.
I am not into Adalbert. It never fails that every time I want to discuss a name, someone wants to push the envelope away from what I like and bring up an awkward and obscure variant.

I'm not trying to get away from Albert.. I like the name a lot. You probably just misunderstood me. I was just suggesting a name....
Also everyone would be replying to your main thread. Not mine. Mine was one reply to your message. Adalbert is a nice name in my opinion, you don't like it which is fine. Just suggesting another name. You posted a thread and everyone is going to say what they want to.
Sorry if I was rude
