As others have said; I'm a fan of the character, but not a fan of using it as a given name. It's too close to 'lupus'. It would be fine as a middle name though as they are rarely mentioned.

Very wolfish. And sort of light sounding. Lightweight, like Robin.
Becomes Lu super easily.
Fun to have as a middle name. A little nerdy as a first name.

It immediately made me think of Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter books. He is a good character but I still couldn't use it, it really sounds way too close to the word for 'wolf' in several languages and also kind of odd and surname-ish.

I like it, in theory - the idea of floral names on boys appeals, and so does the sound of it - but in practice it does have a rather obvious nn. Maybe as a middle name?
