I've already chosen. I really wanted to name my son Ian, but since DH's sister had just divorced a very nice Ian, silly woman, this would have been tactless so I didn't.

Ethan doesn't happen where I live. I've never met, seen or heard of one. And that long, whiney Eeeeeee at the beginning and the trendi-Wendi -an ending are not a happy combo.

Of course, Ian also ends in -an and starts with an Ee! But that's different!
