Full name for Minnie
I recently re-discovered my love of Minnie, but I'm not sure what full name I like best for it. I like Wilhelmina but don't love it. Does Maxine work as a full name for Minnie? I think Maxine could grow on me. Any other suggestions? If you're feeling board, you could also help me find a full name for Rocco.
With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?

Miranda jumps out at me. I think Maxine works too. I think Minnie is a really versatile nickname that could almost be used on most M names, since "inny" is such a common diminutive sound in English. Here are some I think work particularly well:
Mehitabel
Marina
Melissa
Emmaline
Emily

Maxine works. Nicknames are pretty flexible. Good luck.

Ermina would work.

I think it might be ok but maybe a little bit of a strech. If your open to options I seen a Miranda nn Minnie recently.

Maxine would work very well. The only possible problem is that Max, Maxie etc are such obvious nns that they may well overtake Minnie in everyday life. Same problem with Jasmine - it turns into Jazz while you watch.Wilhelmina is inconveniently long! Hermina would have worked, but now it'd be misread as Hermione (which wouldn't work). I hesitate to suggest Mona (Moaning Minnie), but it's in my head so it may as well be in yours too. Minnie Mouse started life as Minerva, which would work better on a human than on a cartoon rodent.

I like Minnie. It's sweet and spunky in that wonderful flapper-esque way. I've been having a similar issue with Wilhelmina lately- I am falling big time for Billie but would want a full name for it and Wilhelmina just seems like a lot of name for person haha. I think Maxine nn Minnie works as long as you consistently called her Minnie. I think people would get confused if you alternated between the full name and Minnie too much. It's always difficult to alternate too much when the nickname isn't super intuitive and when there are more intuitive nickname options (Max, Maxi etc). Maxima "Max" has really been growing on me lately.Other suggestions (sorry for any repeats, I haven't read all the other responses):Minerva
Araminta
Amina (I have a friend named Amina, very English heritage sounding last name and no Middle Eastern heritage to my knowledge, and her family calls her Minnie and Min)
Samina
Melinda
Cosmina
Aminda (I actually love this)
Yasmin
Jasmine / Jessamine
Carmen / Carmina
Romina
Minali
Kamini
Clementine / Clementia / ClemenceI don't really think Rocco needs a full name but I'll have some fun with this:

This might be a stretch but Paula, Pauline, Paulina, Paulette or Pauletta! Since Paul means small and mini also means small.

WinifredI think Minnie was first used as a nickname for Winifred (à la Margaret...Meg...Peg; Mary...Molly...Polly). Winifred...Winnie...Minnie. There is a character named Minnie on the show Lark Rise to Candleford whose real name is Winifred.I prefer Minnie as a given name, or Minna. Love both.

I know a Minerva "Minnie" and I think that's pretty great. These also come to mind:
Dominica / Domenica
Jasmine / Jasmina / Jessamine / Yasmina, etc.
Menodora / Minodora
Noemin (came across this a few days ago and it's been on my mind)
I know a Rutherford "Rocky", so that's my only idea for Rocco haha.
