Re: Sirius
It's very very Harry Potter. All I can think of is Sirius Black. He was a cool character and I kind of like the sound of it but on the other hand it sounds like 'serious' and therefore just doesn't work beyond the wizarding world. It's fine for a character but not very imaginative as it was already used by Rowling. I mean if your story is as good or better than hers then it might work (as long as you are more creative with naming the other characters) but if it isn't great it will just seem kind of cheap, like bad fan fiction, to have a character named this. It is not exclusively her name or anything but it is very very tied to her character so as long as you can't create an equally interesting character it will just seem a bit strange. I would avoid it for a character.I would pair it with something classic such asSirius Luke
Sirius John
Sirius Finn
