Xanthe

I don't have much I like about it, though I find it tolerable. Its pretentious, trying too hard, and sounds strange. Pairing it with the last name Lynch sounds horrible. Unless its not a last name, why pair it with a name that has such violent background?
Lynch is our surname
Like Chrysanthe, I find nothing to like about Xanthe. It doesn't even sound like a real person's name, but a cartoon character or an overpriced, overbred purebred dog.
I like it. Energetic, fun, and feisty, with lots of personality, plus quite easy to spell and say. I think the combo flows well too. I don't think there's anything I dislike about Xanthe.
It seems nice, unusual and like a perfect choice in theory. But to be honest, I think it is really overrated on this board. I have seen it pop up here a lot. It is one of those names that seem better than they actually are, I really used to like it for quite a while until I tested it and said it out loud a few times and it's actually not very nice sounding to my ears.
It looks cool on paper, it seems nice in theory with all its history and like a more edgy choice than the usual Chloe and Zoe but it's just not as pretty and amazing when you think about it. This is just my personal opinion and I still like the name, I just realized it doesn't work very well for me in real life. I often forget to try names out and say them out loud and just love them on paper but after a while I notice that they are just not great when used on a daily basis. I also took Junia (so pretty on paper but sounds almost like 'junior' and Astraea (It reminded me of ashtrays a lot after saying it a few times) off my list for that reason.
Xanthe Christine sounds nice, Christine goes well with almost everything. If it is still about honoring Chris I would suggest Christiana and Christabel they are unusual but a bit more interesting as middle names than Christine which is common. But that applies more if you decide to go with Chloe, if you choose Xanthe a common middle name like Christine provides a nice balance. Christina is pretty too and I kind of like Crystal (it makes me think of snow Crystals and winter time) but Xanthe Crystal sounds a bit like the name of a fortune teller.
